Govt loses, Opposition wins :: Overall India runs into Huge LOSES

Partial bandh costs Mumbai at least Rs 1,000 crore

Why don't people think about their own nation  first before getting into such activities. Bandh would only ease inflation. If we take an example of 100 buses being burnt down in the protest. That would just mean that the government will have to build those 100 buses again and who is going to pay for that?? US
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activists wave flags and shout slogans as they block traffic during a protest against petrol price hike in New Delhi.
Braving the odds, at least 60% of Mumbaikars employed with private and public establishments traveled to work on Thursday, showing a willingness to buck the fear psychosis that usually accompanies a Bharat Bandh. The BJP-led nationwide shutdown was held in protest against the recent increase in petrol prices by Rs 7.50 a litre. Shops and commercial establishments joined in strength, some owing to pressure by trade associations, others in the hope of a partial rollback in fuel prices. The conservative cost of lost business and man hours would amount to at least Rs 1,000 crore, said sources across sectors.
